When you live in the Gloucestershire and Worcestershire area, there are no shortage of places to hold a party. Some of the outdoor locations that make the most of the beautiful scenery are popular options and there are also lots of hotels that offer their facilities for your events. Berkeley Castle
Berkeley Castle is a popular wedding venue in Gloucestershire but not many people realise that you can also use the facilities to hold a birthday party or other celebration. The castle has been home to the Berkeley family for over 850 years and is a genuine, authentic castle that has a sense of history to it that few places can match. It was originally one of the March Castles, built to keep the Welsh out of England and still has plenty of those original features. It is also a beautiful building to act as a backdrop for those party photos with its soft pink stone that glows at sunset.
You can hire the castle and grounds for an event, meaning you can have both indoor and outdoor areas to use. Inside is space for large parties as well as casual areas for guests to relax and have a chat. Outdoors are Elizabethan terraces, a lily pond and terraces with views out across the countryside.
Park Mill Farm
Park Mill Farm is a twenty acre smallholding on the edge of the Cotswolds that is a working farm and also offers its facilities for people to use for weddings, parties and other events. The farm is a rare pig breed specialist and has won awards for the quality of the meat that it produces so this can be used as a basis for any meal held on the grounds. They also have a range of other animals including chickens, ducks and geese who wander the property.

Cirencester Town FC
For football fans, a party at local club Cirencester Town FC is great fun and the club have an impressive facility to hold events. Called The Corinium, the club’s event facility has been upgraded in recent years to offer a venue suitable for parties, weddings and other events such as corporate days. There are a number of function rooms within the facility that mean there is something to suit all party sizes and there is even dance floor space.
As well as the indoor space, there is also a plaza outdoors that is ideal for a bouncy castle or a barbeque and can be used when the weather is suitable. There is even a large car park area for guests who bring their vehicles.
